Many textbooks have been written based on these papers. The first article
was translated into English and reprint of the tables may be found in
Taylor's Scientific Memoirs (1841), Vol. II, pp. 317-369. The second
article provides Gauss' algorithm for the solution and methods of
determining weights by both Gauss (1823)
and Hansen (1830 and 1831). The third
article discusses conditioned observations.
